AFI RVSM implementation date is scheduled for 25 September 2008 and states have published relevant AIP Supplement / AIC.
Swaziland unfortunately has missed AIRAC date by one day and AFI RVSM Project Management Team (PMT) has decided to maintain RVSM implementation date and requested IATA to inform concerned aviation operators about Swaziland AIC & AIP Supplement for RVSM implementation effective 25 September 2008.
Most of the Aviation Community members have agreed to publish Swaziland AIC & AIP Supplement for RVSM implementation on their respective Web-sites. In addition to IATA: ARMA (AFI Regional Monitoring Agency), ICAO ATNS and IFALPA.
IATA is approaching Eurocontrol, Jeppesen, ATLAS, etc. to publish the same information on their websites.
Further to this PMT will do all efforts to send to all operators overflying Swaziland and investigate the issuing of an applicable NOTAM drawing attention to the documents.
This joint effort of the Aviation Community has allowed maintaining AFI RVSM implementation effective date of 25 September 2008.
