Infrastructure Strategy is responsible for IATA's high level air traffic management and airport strategy. The group will direct and review the political, economic, technical and operational priorities of the infrastructure strategy, coordinate with and harmonize regional activity, provide a second review of ATM_cns related Policies and provide guidance on key infrastructure issues.
Spectrum Protection Steering Group
The objective of this group is to protect the aeronautical radio spectrum
interest within the integral IATA overall objective to:
- Ensure the safety, efficiency, security and integrity of the flight operations
- Preserve the equity and economic value of airline equipment
- Provide for equipage and infrastructure operations for the future.
Aviation Frequency Spectrum
Aviation depends on access to an adequate and predictable radio spectrum, which has become a highly valued global resource. Decisions taken at the World Radio Conferences of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU WRC) have far-reaching effects on air transport.
