Welcome to the Business Intelligence Services (BIS) workgroup for IATA annual statistical publications (IASP). This workgroup is formed of a number of airlines providing data that is compiled into global industry results and trends , reported in our publications.
This workgroup manages annual data collections for:
- World Air Transport Statistics (WATS): a comprehensive source of operational statistics and financial data for over 250 airlines, representing appr 95% of world international scheduled traffic. . It covers annual traffic and capacity results, number of employees, fleet details, fuel consumption and corporate financial results.
- Airline Industry Forecast: This comprehensive report provides detailed five-year forecasts for both passenger and freight markets at the country, region and global level, derived from IATA’s 2009 survey of the industry’s leading forecasters from over 60 major airlines (IATA members and non-members), civil aviation and airport authorities.
