The APTF consists of a group of airline representatives in the field of Flight Operations Engineering. Meetings are scheduled twice per year; the agenda consists of items of importance for the industry.
The APTF forms a unique industry platform for performance related issues. As such it has strong links with ICAO; several working papers have been produced that were incorporated into ICAO Standards.
Another performance related task force is the SCAP Task Force. This TF monitors and amends Standardized Computerized Aircraft Performance related issues. It meets twice yearly.
Within IATA the Airport Obstacle DataBase (AODB) is an important subject having its own site.
