BSP System and BSP Language is an online e-learning module.

This module is important for working travel professionals who sell passenger airline travel through the IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) or for students planning a career in travel.

The objective of this module is to make learners familiar with the BSP system, BSP processes and common BSP language. This module will explain what the BSP is, how it works and the benefits of the BSP for a travel agency.  

By completing this module you will be able to:

• Define what is the BSP
• List the benefits of being an accredited BSP travel agency
• Describe the roles and responsibilities of the BSP participants
• Describe the BSP process
• Identify the steps in reporting sales through the BSP
• Name, locate and use resources with information on BSP
• Understand commonly used BSP language

There are 6 lessons in this training module. Each lesson ends with a summary of key learning points and a set of Study Check questions to answer. The Module ends with an online review quiz to assess your learning. Students who enroll and complete this online course will receive an Introduction to the BSP System and BSP Language module completion letter.

This module will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Each lesson contains key learning points and a study check to reinforce the lesson outcomes.
