Matchmaker is an automated process that allows participating airlines to establish contact with other carriers to set up Interline Electronic Ticketing agreements. The service provides a regularly updated list of participating carrier ET contacts that carriers can update with a single e-mail to IATA.
Until further notice, use of the Interline ET Matchmaker service does not obviate the notification requirements that form part of all MITA agreements.
How does it work?
An airline enters a secure website, selects a desired interline partner (or partners) and proposed implementation date(s) for the interline agreement(s).
Each week all submitted requests are sorted and a single e-mail is sent to each airline listing all requests made during the previous 7 days. The email also provides a summary of all active requests and up to date contact information.
How to enroll in the the Matchmaker
If your airline has not already been registered (200 airlines registered so far), your airline's StB Champion or ET Contact can make a request by contacting your local StB Country Representative.

Important update
The IET Matchmaker will be shut down on Friday 29 August. It will no longer be possible to request the contact information of an airline via the Matchmaker after this date. However, you will be able obtain the latest contact information of other MITA airlines on the MITA Private Site. Request access to the site. For further questions about MITA, please contact mita@iata.org.
