Introduction
The IATA Clearing House (ICH) is a paperless operation where members & associates submit/transmit their claims via a secure web-based application called the IATA Clearing House Web (ICH Web). The speed of processing claims over the Internet has allowed our members & associates to submit/transmit their claims instantly, greatly reducing processing and transit time, in turn allowing for a reduction to their credit risk while improving cash management.
Via the Web, IATA Clearing House members have the benefit of directly accessing, our system for claims submission/transmission and reports retrieval. The documents retrievable via the Web include:
Forms 1, 2, 3 and Summary Forms 2, Call Day Adjustment Report, Early Warning Report and Invoice Query Report.
Debtor Forms 1 will be available once claims have been processed by the Clearing House.
F12 File Option
In addition to using the ICH Web for manually submitting data directly into our web application, ICH members & associates also have the option to transmit data generated from their Accounting system directly into the IATA Clearing House system. However, please note that the member or associate will need to develop a program to enable the export of information from its Accounting system into an F12 file, which is formatted according to the specifications provided by IATA. Once the F12 file has been generated it can then be transmitted electronically to the Clearing House by selecting the [Transmit Electronic File] option on the Web page.
Minimum Requirements
The minimum system requirements are: Internet Explorer Browser (version 5.5 or later), Pentium Processor and a highspeed Internet Connection.
