Who can join?
All airlines are able to join the Clearing House. However, for non-IATA airlines it is a pre-requisite to be a participant of the Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreement (MITA). An airline is also able to join as a sponsored airline, subject to having an IATA member airline sponsor it.
Companies associated with the airline industry are also able to join the Clearing House as Associate Members, and as such are able to bill airlines for whom they provide a service subject to the appropriate authority from the member airline. Associate Membership terms vary depending on whether the applicant is an IATA Strategic Partner or not.
