Euro Expansion – Update
In July 2008, the European Council made the final positive decision on Slovakia’s adoption of the euro, as from 1 January 2009. The conversion rate was set at 30.1260 Slovak koruna to the euro, corresponding to the current central rate of the koruna within the EU's ERM II exchange rate mechanism.

Increasing the effectiveness of the ICWG
The ICWG has implemented Country-Specific Task Forces for various problem countries, to be lead by ICWG members with assistance from volunteers from affected airlines.
