ICCS 200th Member

IATA was pleased to welcome the New Year with the announcement of its 200th ICCS Member: Etihad Airways - who now joins 199 airlines worldwide that have chosen ICCS to support their growing international businesses. This is a significant milestone – and a clear endorsement of ICCS as an effective solution for airline treasuries’ cash management needs. Since counting our 100th Member in December 2004, ICCS Membership has doubled over the past three years.

NEW Airport Cash Services

IATA will soon launch a pilot project for a new industry service: Airport Cash Services – to assist airlines in standardising and centralising cash proceeds collection at airport locations. Read more

Euro Expansion – Update

Slovakia received the green light to become the 16th member state of the Eurozone. The European Commission report shows that Slovakia has met all conditions to join the Euro and will do so as of 1 January 2009. Final announcements are expected shortly, with the EU leaders to vote on this in June and the conversion exchange rate to be set in July. Source: EUobserver.

2008 ICCS Customer Satisfaction Survey

IATA will be launching an ICCS Member survey shortly, which will be sent to over 200 ICCS Member Airlines. The survey will gather key information and feedback, which will assist IATA to evaluate ICCS performance on a variety of metrics and accurately position the ICCS service for continued future success. Members are strongly encouraged to respond to the survey. A special thank-you gift will be sent to three respondents drawn from the first 50 returned surveys.
