Thank you for participating in the survey in our previous TRACKER. The query we posed was “[How much do you think] environmental issues, particularly consumer perception, will impact air cargo business volumes over the next two years...”
The result of the survey was that 76% of you thought that environmental issues will impact the Air Cargo Business over the next few years. While some of you expressed concern about contributing to global warming, most of you think that new means will be put into place allowing for cleaner perishable goods transport by air.
IATA is clear that what is required is a proactive approach to air cargo and the environment. You will be hearing more about this in future issues of TRACKER.
