The World Air Transport Summit and IATA's 61st Annual General Meeting will take place at the Grand Pacific Meridien Hotel, evening functions will be held at the Nikko Hotel. The final agenda and documentation will be circulated one month prior to the event; additional documentation will be provided on-site.
Delegates are reminded to bring all AGM documentation to the meeting.
Hotel Accomodation
Accommodation has been arranged at both the Grand Pacific Meridien Hotel and the Nikko Hotel in the O-Daiba area of Tokyo; these hotels are connected by a sky bridge and are next door to each other. Please register early to ensure your accommodations. Delegates are asked to complete the relevant section of the Registration Form enclosed in full, indicating room and hotel choice, arrival/departure and passport details and intended participation at the social events. Suite rates and availability upon request.
Weather
Weather in Tokyo at the end of May is normally fairly pleasant. Just before the rainy season, there is not much rain, although humidity could be relatively high. Temperature will be in the high 20° C during the day; evenings may be cooler.

Ground Transportation
Both the hotels are approximately one hour from Narita airport and twenty minutes from Haneda airport in Tokyo. There is no transportation organised by IATA for airport transfers. From Narita a taxi costs approximately US$285.00 and from Haneda approximately US$35.00. Some taxis take credit cards and these must be identified prior to travel. It is highly recommended to have Japanese Yen available for taxi fares into the city. Airport Limousine bus service is available from the airport directly to the hotel, almost every 30 minutes at ¥2,700 (about US$26.00) one way. There is a private limousine service at a special rate of ¥28,000 (about US$270.00) one way.
