SIMPLIFIED INTERLINE SETTLEMENT

The Simplified Interline Settlement (SIS) project aims to simplify interline billing, and remove paper from the entire process, delivering tangible financial benefits to the industry.

As announced previously, SIS has begun moving forward with the implementation of the Integrated Settlement solution. One major step is the release of the Basics for Airline Internal Business Case document.

The document, now updated in the Materials section of the website, provides further details about the SIS solution, the various processes to be supported, and how the migration is expected to occur. Additionally, it helps carriers identify potential benefits and cost reductions. It has been updated with the expected IS fees.

The SIS Airline Business Case page will be updated with any further information as it becomes available, based on your questions and comments.

Questions will be addressed during a public webcast, scheduled for 5 May.

For more information, please see your next steps in SIS or the general SIS website.
